This guarantees successful backup, even when no removable is available. Data is firstly backed up on disk, and then copied onto tape. This double level of data replication guarantees the data integrity. Backup Smart way configuration and parameters are saved on a specific file which is then sent to the user and eventually archived on tape. In case of crash or breakdown, the Backup Smart Way configuration is quickly restored, thus avoiding an expensive business discontinuity.
Parallel Backups: Backup Smart Way dynamically and simultaneously manages the number of systems backed up according to network load and data volume. This approach enables to reduce overall backup time and optimise the impact on the network.
